Past experiences

2015年

At retirement, I had a sense of being pulled away from updating my techniques and lost purpose or what I should live for.

Diagnosis

2016年

I repeated the same things over and over, and I visited the hospital with my wife.

2016年

Oral medication did not fit me, and I repeatedly yelled and got angry for strange reasons. I cried, wondering what would happen to me.
I changed oral medicines.

2016年

I went to other hospital and got the same diagnosis. I suppose doctors are telling correct things, but I still feel it might not be a disease because everybody becomes forgetful.

Message to the society

I think we must go out into the society to achieve our goals. In this process, I think it is important to challenge ourselves with aspiration to improve, even when we fail. Whether as an individual or as a company, we should never be satisfied with the status quo and look forward. We do what we can to make improvements over the current situation.
I used to be a corporate soldier, and I would get interested and involved in various things to make innovation, progress, and improvements; I would do whatever I could.
Now I have lost my energy and have trouble thinking on my own, and I feel that I would be happy if the present continues. However, I have doubts about the concept of dementia itself. It is not a disease but symptoms.
It is normal for everyone to become a little forgetful as one gets older. So I am actually not worried too much, thinking that it is just right for my age.
