Retired from work to provide care for wife

2008年(70)

Having learned the harmonica and the shamisen as hobbies, I had been visiting facilities for the elderly from the time I was still working. I was happy to see people having fun. I like to be out and really enjoy fun activities and entertaining people.

2013年(75)

I received medical care for things I had never experienced, such as falling off a mandarin orange tree or contracting norovirus.

2013年(75)

After retiring from work, I started to feel that I could no longer do tasks that I used to be able to do easily, such as farming.

2016年(78)

I started to ask my wife for help gradually more often, for example when I went to the hospital or various other places.

2016年(78)

I began to feel that walking and driving a car were becoming more and more difficult.

Diagnosis

2018年(80)

I had a cataract surgery to renew my driver's license. My family members told me this would be the last renewal.

I fell down, broke a bone and got hospitalized.
